México City, May 14th, 2003 – Diveo México, the world-class data center with the most experience in the country, today announced the launching of the first and only Windows 2003 Migration Center in the country and has successfully begun the migration of applications and solutions of 10 of its principal customers to the Microsoft Windows 2003 operating system. These 10 Diveo customers are the first companies in México to run their critical system on this platform.

As a prelude to the launch of this operating system, Diveo México held a “Windows 2003 Server – Migration Demo” event with the objective of presenting to its customers a live migration to Windows 2003 together with Microsoft México. In addition, Diveo presented the benefits and advantages of diverse technological solutions performance optimization of the new platform.

Ramón Quintana, General Director of México also confirmed that Diveo will install the Windows 2003 Migration Center in its data center in parallel to the launching of Windows 2003. This will ensure all of those who wish to run the operating system, and who do not have the infrastructure or the support to do so, can count on a specialized data center to do the job.
